LightPhotos

Open the app

Two ways in — a browser tab or a desktop build — and the same editor over the same files either way.

Shortcuts are written the macOS way — on Windows and Linux, read Cmd as Ctrl. Press ? inside the app for the list as your own machine shows it.

LightPhotos works on a folder that is already sitting on your disk, so the whole loop happens in one window: open the app, pick a folder, browse it, choose a photo, adjust it, export it. Your ratings and edits are written as you go, and you can stop at any point.

  • In a browser. Open the web app — nothing to install and nothing to update. It renders on the GPU, so Chrome or any browser with WebGPU enabled will run it.
  • As a desktop app. Download it for macOS, Windows or Linux. It runs with no internet at all once it is on your machine.

Either way it is the same editor over the same files. Photos are read straight from disk and never uploaded, and the desktop builds are small.
