LightPhotos

Open the app

Two ways in — a browser tab or a desktop build — and the same editor over the same files either way.

LightPhotos works on a folder that is already sitting on your disk, so the whole loop happens in one window: open the app, pick a folder, browse it, choose a photo, adjust it, export it. Your ratings and edits are written as you go, and you can stop at any point.

  • In a browser. Open the web app — nothing to install and nothing to update. The web app is not available in your current browser. Use Chrome instead. It renders on the GPU, so Chrome or any browser with WebGPU enabled will run it.
  • As a desktop app. Download it for macOS, Windows or Linux. It runs with no internet at all once it is on your machine.

Either way it is the same editor over the same files. Photos are read straight from disk and never uploaded, and the desktop builds are small.
